Tom Humpage is a Chamonix-based freelance photographer who specializes in action sports—cycling, skiing, climbing, and trail running—as well as travel, landscapes, and interiors.

Tom brings over 13 years of experience to the lens. His travel photography has been featured in major mainstream press outlets including The Guardian, The Observer,The London Paper, Metro Travel, and more.

Tom’s diverse background—and expertise in staging and retouching—enables him to offer his clients not just a set of images, but a professional, end-to-end production. Before becoming a full-time freelance photographer, Tom worked on the art team at TIME magazine, and also spent time at Rapid Eye Productions advising on photo shoots and producing material for clients including Banksy, the Streets, AOL, and Harrods. Tom’s ability to bring out the aspirational qualities of people, places, and products has made him a highly successful interior and commercial photographer, and he has done work for brands including Nathan Performance Gear, SuperCo Bikes, Crystal Ski Holidays, and others. He is also currently the Visual Content Editor for the Chamonix-based company See The World, where he oversees the visual content and branding for 20+ travel websites throughout Europe.

Tom’s passion for the outdoors stems from a lifetime spent riding and racing bikes in every discipline (road, mountain, track, and BMX) as well as rock climbing and skiing. He is based between London, UK and Chamonix, France, where he draws inspiration from the world-class athletes and landscapes around him—and never stops chasing his own adventures on rock, snow, and trail.
